INTERESTED?

Below are additional information for available openings for our event:

Performers/entertainers: In auditioning to be a performer or entertainer for the event, please explain how you’d like to contribute. If you’re a musician/band, please submit any music in which you’d plan to present, and why you think you should be apart of the event. If you have any ideas for a performance, please explain as thorough as possible.

Fashion Designers: If you’re a designer and you’re interested in participating in the show, we ask that you send us a portfolio of your clothing/designs. Also, for the Fashion Week, we’d like spring and summer attire (dresses, etc.) in the show. Since we’re going to cast models for the show, we are open to any requirements you prefer for your designs, (sizes, ages, heights, etc.) If you wish to use your own models, the models need to attend a casting of ours and be selected. We’ll also provide makeup artists and hairstylists.

Three nights of fashion events and shows, Native designers from all over Canada and the U.S. come and present in Native Max Fashion Week.

Alongside the veterans of the fashion world, fashion students from local schools and colleges are invited to present their mini collections in the show. There will also be men’s and children’s designers in the show.

The runway for the show is expected be to around 72-96 feet long (compared to the average length of local runway shows, 12 – 20 ft).

Models: We’re going to cast for male, female and children models. However, currently we are not ready to cast models yet, as we need to finalize our list of designers first. Once we have a list of designers, the Native Max team will travel to different locations around the country and hold casting calls for models.

Guest Appearances: We invite today’s Native celebrities and special guests to appear at the event. There will also be autograph and photo sessions. Currently finalizing guest appearances.

Makeup Artists and Hairstylists: We are currently looking for makeup artists and hairstylists to participate. If you own a salon or work for a salon, we encourage the whole salon to participate. All makeup and hair looks will be photographed at the show to add to your portfolio. If salons or boutiques participate, the business will be added to our Sponsorship roster.

Photographers and Videographers: We invite photographers and videographers to help cover and record the event. However, if you’re interested in photographing or recording the event, you must provide your portfolio, experience and reason why you want to cover the event. Interested photographers and videographers are required to speak with our Director of Photography.

Business Owners and Vendors: We have kiosk carts available at the mall for vendors, artists and business owners to rent and sell merchandise. If interested, please email kcochran@simon.com
